Pakistan have won the toss and decided to bat first in the Multan Test against England.

After the toss at Multan Stadium, Pakistan team captain Shan Masood said that we have two spinners and 3 fast bowlers in the team, we want to change things and get back on track.

On the other hand, Ole Pope, who replaced Ben Stokes as the leader of the English team, said that if we had won the toss, we would have batted.

Be aware that Ollie Pope has been entrusted with leading the away side as captain Ben Stokes has not been fully fit due to a hamstring injury.

Remember that Ben Stokes suffered a hamstring injury during the Hundred League.

In the first Test match against England, the playing XI of Pakistan team under the leadership of Shan Masood consists of Saeem Ayub, Abdullah Shafiq, Babar Azam, Saud Shakeel and wicketkeeper batsman Muhammad Rizwan.

Apart from them, Salman Ali Agha, Amir Jamal, Shaheen Afridi, Naseem Shah and Abrar Ahmed are among the other players in the squad.

The first Test of the series of three Test matches between Pakistan and England will be played in Multan, while the second Test starting from October 15 will also be played in Multan and the last match on October 24 will be played in Rawalpindi.
