PM condemns Duki terrorist attack, offers condolences to victims’ families

Prime Minister condemned the terrorist attack

The Prime Minister condemned the terrorist attack on miners in the Duki district during a phone call with the Governor and Chief Minister of Balochistan.

Expressing his condolences to the families of those killed in the terrorist attack, the Prime Minister said,

“We stand with the families of the martyrs during this difficult time.”

He emphasized the government’s determination to root out all forms of terrorism and assured that the federal government will provide full support to the families of the victims.

The Prime Minister also requested a detailed report on the Duki incident and directed that all possible medical assistance be provided to the injured.

It is worth noting that last night, unidentified armed individuals launched rockets and grenades at coal mines in Duki, Balochistan, and opened fire on the miners with modern weapons. The attack resulted in the deaths of 21 miners and injured 7 others.

The deceased miners were from Afghanistan, Zhob, Qilla Saifullah, Pishin, Kuchlak, Musa Khel, and Muslim Bagh. The attackers also set fire to machinery at ten coal mines.
