India should take Canada’s allegations seriously, US

On the dispute between Canada and India over the murder of a Sikh leader, the US demanded that India take Canada’s allegations seriously.

US State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said during a press briefing that India takes Canada’s allegations of conspiracy to kill seriously.

He said that we have made it clear that the allegations are grave, India is not taking it seriously, they have chosen an alternative path.

Matthew Miller further said that India is a strong partner of America, America has such a relationship with India that they openly discuss concerns and concerns.

The US Department of State spokesperson said they are aware of Pakistan’s request to the United Nations Security Council.

Matthew Miller said at the ongoing Shanghai Cooperation Summit in Pakistan that the US respects the sovereign right of each country to choose groupings.

He said we encourage participation in multilateral forums to ensure compliance and respect for international law.
