NADRA Launches Convenient Biker Service for CNIC Applications in Islamabad and Rawalpindi
The National Database and Registration Authority (NADRA) has introduced an innovative new service aimed at streamlining the process for citizens to apply for or update their Computerized National Identity Cards (CNICs) without the inconvenience of visiting a NADRA office. This service, dubbed the NADRA Biker Service, is initially available in the twin cities of Rawalpindi and Islamabad.
Convenient and Time-Saving Solution
The NADRA Biker Service is designed to alleviate the frustrations often associated with long wait times in queues at registration offices. By enabling applicants to complete their CNIC processes from the comfort of their homes or offices, NADRA is making strides toward enhancing citizen convenience and efficiency. The authority has announced plans to expand this service to other cities across Pakistan in the near future.
How to Book the NADRA Biker Service
Utilizing the NADRA Biker Service is straightforward. Interested citizens can simply call 1777, the NADRA helpline, and speak with a representative. During the call, users will need to provide details regarding the service they require, such as applying for a new CNIC or updating existing personal information. After the necessary information is gathered, a convenient appointment will be scheduled, and a NADRA biker will be dispatched to the specified location to handle the application process.
Service Cost and Payment Options
The total fee for processing a new CNIC through the Biker Service is Rs. 1,500, which includes a service charge of Rs. 1,000. To accommodate various preferences, payments can be made in cash or via card at the time of service.
Home Delivery
Once the CNIC application has been successfully processed, NADRA will deliver the newly issued or updated CNIC directly to the applicant’s doorstep. This added convenience ensures that citizens do not need to make an additional trip to a NADRA office, saving them both time and effort.
