In the second test match, Pakistan defeated England by 152 runs to level the 3-match series.
The result of the Test match played in Multan came on the fourth day, in the second innings, only 2 spin bowlers from Pakistan proved to be enough for the English team.
Chasing a target of 297 runs, the England team was bowled out for 144 runs. Nauman Ali dismissed 8 and Sajid Khan dismissed 2 players.
As the day started, Sajid Khan gave Pakistan their first and third win overall when he dismissed Ollie Pope for 22 runs.
Shortly after, England’s fourth wicket fell for 55 runs when Joe Root was dismissed lbw by Nouman Ali for 18 runs.
After a short interval, England’s fifth wicket fell on 78 and sixth wicket on 88 runs.
Harry Brooke was dismissed for 16 and Jamie Smith for 6.
The seventh wicket of the visiting team fell on 125 and the eighth wicket on 138 runs while the last 2 wickets fell on 144 runs.
The final and deciding match of the three-Test series will begin on October 24 in Rawalpindi.
Yesterday, in chasing the target, England scored 36 runs for the loss of 2 wickets at the end of the day 3rd.
Sajid Khan set a new record in Multan
On the third day of the match at the Multan Cricket Stadium, the Pakistan team was bowled out for 221 runs in the second innings. Thus, England has got a target of 297 runs to win.
It should be noted that the national team was dismissed by scoring 366 runs in the first innings while the England team scored 291 runs in the first innings.
