In the case of reserved seats, the dissenting note of Justice Yahya Afridi of the Supreme Court of Pakistan was issued, he has written a dissenting note containing 26 pages.

In the dissenting note of Justice Yahya Afridi, it has been stated that the Sunni Ittehad Council does not meet the constitutional requirements for obtaining certain seats, the applications of the Sunni Unity Council are rejected.

It has been said in the dissenting note that the Sunni Ittehad Council is not eligible to take reserved seats, Tehreek-e-Insaaf is a political party, eligible for reserved seats, the Election Commission should hear the parties and decide within 7 days.

Justice Yahya Afridi has said that Election Commission should re-examine the notification of specific seats, PTI did not become a party before this court, the case was going on from June 3, PTI did not file any application till June 26, 26 PTI’s request to become a party came in June.

In a dissenting note, Justice Yahya said that Barrister Gauhar requested assistance in the ongoing case, PTI did not seek any declaration in its favour.
