Chief Justice Yahya Afridi Sets a New Pace: 30 Cases Heard on Day One

Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Pakistan Yahya Afridi completed the hearing of a record 24 cases in one and a half hours on the first day.

Justice Yahya Afridi heard 30 cases in 15 minutes from 9:30 to 10:30.

He adjourned 6 out of 30 cases till 11:30 for various reasons.

Justice Yahya Afridi and Justice Shahid Bilal conducted the hearing in Bench No. 1.

On the other hand, the full court session will be held today in the Supreme Court chaired by Chief Justice Yahya Afridi.

All available judges will participate in the full court session, which is expected to take important administrative decisions.

According to the sources, judicial reforms will also be considered in the full court meeting.

Senior Judge Justice Mansoor Ali Shah will not be able to attend the full court session due to payment of Umrah.
