He also served as an advisor to Al-Mustafa Schools, then Qasim Naeem participated in the founding activities of Hezbollah and was appointed Deputy Secretary General of Hezbollah in 1992.

In 2009, Mustafa Badr al-Din appointed Naeem Qasim as the head of Hezbollah’s military activities, replacing Imad Mughnia.

It should be remembered that Naeem Qasim has been a member of Hizbullah Shura Committee for 3 consecutive times. After the martyrdom of Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah in the Israeli attack, Qasim Naeem has been appointed as the interim head of Hasbullah.
