The Punjab government has decided to outsource 150 primary health centers and rural health centers.
According to the sources, a decision regarding health centers was taken in a meeting held a few days ago under the chairpersonship of Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz.

According to sources, outsourced health centers or rural health centers can be taken over by the doctor working there or by another doctor or NGO.
According to the sources, currently there are 2800 primary health centers and rural health centers in Punjab, the provincial government is starting this work as a pilot project.

In this regard, Provincial Minister Khawaja Imran Nazir said that such centers, whose conditions are bad, will be outsourced.
He further said that the doctors and staff will remain employees of the Punjab government, the government will give an adequate amount of treatment and medicine per patient to the outsourced centers.
