Google Introduces ‘Help Me Write’ Feature to Simplify Email Composition for Gmail Web Users
Google has made composing emails much easier for Gmail’s web users by introducing a new feature called “Help Me Write.”
This feature, powered by the Gemini AI model, was initially launched in August for mobile users and is now available in the web version of Gmail. However, it is currently accessible only to users subscribed to Google Workspace or Google One AI Premium, who pay a monthly fee.
With the “Help Me Write” feature, users can create new email drafts with just one click. Whether you want to draft a complete email from start to finish or just need a bit of help, Gemini’s AI tools make it possible. Simply provide a few keywords, and the AI model will generate the email for you.
If you wish to improve an existing draft, the “Polish” feature offers several options to enhance and adjust the tone, style, and clarity of your message.
To use this feature, start your draft with at least 12 words, and the Polish option will appear, allowing for quick adjustments. The “Help Me Write” shortcut can be accessed directly within the compose window in Gmail.
Google has announced that this feature will be gradually rolled out to Gmail web users.
