Russia’s Consul General in Karachi, Andrey V. Fedorov, expressed satisfaction over the strengthening ties between Russia and Pakistan, noting significant progress in bilateral cooperation and high-level exchanges. Speaking at the People’s Unity Day ceremony at the Russian Consulate on Friday night, Fedorov emphasized the resilience of the Russian people, who celebrate the day annually on November 4.

Fedorov highlighted that Russia-Pakistan relations are steadily developing, with the current trade volume surpassing $2 billion. He acknowledged the countries’ partnership within the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), underscoring the unity and shared goals among SCO members to work together for a better future.

The consul general’s comments reflect the deepening engagement between Islamabad and Moscow, with both nations striving to enhance trade and collaborative efforts across various sectors.
